Answers to some common issues and questions.

• Check secondary display is connected and powered on and that you can see the Windows desktop on it
• Check display scaling is set to 100% in Windows display settings
• Check Screen Monkey display profile

PowerPoint playback

• To use PowerPoint clips in Screen Monkey you must have a licensed copy of Microsoft PowerPoint installed. Check that you have a compatible version installed on your computer. PowerPoint version 2013 or later is required.

Broken Clips

If you see a clip icon with a red cross this either means the media file for the clip cannot be located or in the case of macro control clips it means the external equipment is disconnected. It is possible to repair broken media links by clicking the clip and telling Screen Monkey where the media is located. Macro clips are designed to repair automatically when the equipment is reconnected.
